Los Angeles in the Movies

Los Angeles in the Movies

The enduring writer’s strike has certainly put Hollywood movies on hold—so it is a good time to look at what the city and movies have in common. This is, to be clear, the shortlist, for this list could go on and on, but we take a brief look at some of our favorites—

Los Angeles has played a prominent role in countless movies, serving as both a backdrop and a character in its own right. Here are some notable films that showcase the city:

  1. Blade Runner (1982) – Directed by Ridley Scott, this iconic science fiction film depicts a dystopian Los Angeles in the year 2019. Its dark, rain-soaked streets and futuristic skyline have become synonymous with the city’s portrayal in futuristic settings.
  2. La La Land (2016) – Damien Chazelle’s musical romantic comedy celebrates the magic of Los Angeles. The film showcases various famous locations, including Griffith Observatory, Hermosa Beach Pier, and the Warner Bros. Backlot.
  3. Chinatown (1974) – Roman Polanski’s neo-noir classic is set in 1937 Los Angeles and explores the corruption and intrigue surrounding the city’s water supply. The film captures the gritty, sun-drenched streets of old Los Angeles.
  4. Pulp Fiction (1994) – Quentin Tarantino’s acclaimed film features various locations in and around Los Angeles, giving viewers a taste of the city’s diverse neighborhoods.
  5. Training Day (2001) – This crime thriller, directed by Antoine Fuqua, provides a gritty portrayal of Los Angeles’ criminal underworld. Much of the film takes place in some of the city’s tougher neighborhoods.
  6. The Big Lebowski (1998) – The Coen Brothers’ cult classic is set in Los Angeles and features a quirky cast of characters navigating the city’s diverse landscapes, from Venice Beach to the Hollywood Hills.
  7. Heat (1995) – Michael Mann’s crime thriller showcases various Los Angeles locations, including the historic downtown area. The film’s iconic shootout scene takes place on the streets of downtown.
  8. Die Hard (1988) – While often associated with Christmas due to its holiday setting, this action-packed film is a quintessential example of the high-rise architecture and urban environment that defines parts of Los Angeles.
  9. Boyz n the Hood (1991) – John Singleton’s coming-of-age drama offers a glimpse into South Central Los Angeles in the late 1980s and early 1990s, addressing issues of race, violence, and socio-economic disparity.
  10. Mulholland Drive (2001) – David Lynch’s surreal mystery film is deeply rooted in the mystique of Los Angeles. The winding Mulholland Drive, a scenic route through the Hollywood Hills, plays a significant role in the narrative.
  11. Drive (2011) – Nicolas Winding Refn’s stylish neo-noir crime film captures the nighttime allure of Los Angeles, featuring its neon-lit streets and moody atmosphere.
  12. L.A. Confidential (1997) – This neo-noir crime film, directed by Curtis Hanson, is set in the 1950s and showcases a period-specific Los Angeles, complete with vintage cars and architecture.

These films not only provide a visual tour of Los Angeles but also often reflect the city’s unique atmosphere, cultural diversity, and its place in the collective imagination of filmmakers and audiences alike.

Planning a California Road Trip Adventure

Planning a California Road Trip Adventure

With near-endless sunshine, world-class theme parks and abundant outdoor experiences, California is an ideal destination to embark on an unforgettable adventure.

To make it easy for travelers to plan their trips, the 2023 California Road Trips guide includes 13 action-packed itineraries that begin and end at one of the state’s 27 commercial airports, highlighting how easy it is to fly into any region of the Golden State and hit the road.

“California’s natural beauty, diverse topography and culturally rich communities are the perfect backdrop for an epic road trip experience,” said Caroline Beteta, president and CEO of Visit California, a nonprofit organization that partners with the state’s travel industry to develop and maintain marketing programs that keep California top-of-mind as a premier travel destination. “This year’s guide showcases how the state’s vast network of international and regional airports provide travelers with convenient access to every corner of the California Road Trip Republic.”

The guide’s cover star, Dwyane Wade, a three-time NBA champion, dad and owner of Napa Valley winery Wade Cellars, moved to Los Angeles after his retirement in 2019. Wade said California granted him a soulful landscape and much-needed quiet time.

“I like to find moments where no one can expect anything of me and California allows me to have those moments,” Wade said. “I’ll drive to the beach and walk next to the water. I’ll drive all over to find those moments to connect with myself… I get my energy from that.”

While California’s world-renowned coastline provides a dramatic backdrop, adventures can be found in every region of the Golden State. Featured drives take travelers to both cities and classic small towns, family attractions and far-reaching, otherworldly landscapes. A few sample road trip itineraries include:

* “Animals, Desert and Offbeat Art” combines kid-friendly experiences like LEGOLAND California and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park with the rich arts culture and stargazing opportunities in Borrego Springs.

* “Cactus and Cocktails” explore both the cosmopolitan pleasures of Palm Springs and the rugged sceneries of Joshua Tree National Park and the Mojave National Preserve.

* “National Park Adventures” is a 412-mile adventure that begins at Fresno Yosemite Airport and explores the wonders of Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

* “Road to Gold” is a four-day trek that begins in Sacramento, explores Lake Tahoe and meanders back through Gold Country with photo opportunities at every turn.

* “Innovation and Agricultural Bounty” features a San Jose-based itinerary that showcases cutting-edge arts, charming seaside villages and bountiful farmlands on a 238-mile journey.

Lake Tahoe Sojourn

Lake Tahoe Sojourn

In the Sierra Nevada Mountains lies the third-deepest lake in America and the 10th-deepest in the world, Lake Tahoe. It is a glistening gemstone in the wilderness filled with clear water and alpine trees. This is a lake that is claimed by both Californai and Neveda, and it is stunning no matter which direction you look at it from.

It is a 7 and a half-hour drive from Los Angeles, but what a drive! Of course, you can fly for $150 and be there in under two hours (stop in Reno and find your way to the lake).

We opted for the slow ride through the 395, with visits to Bishop, California, Lone Pine, Mammoth Lakes, Mono Lake, and finally South Lake Tahoe. Our destination is the Hyatt Regency in Lake Tahoe, with its spa and Casino. And just like that, we arrived. This is the weekend before the 4th of July, and there is a buzz about it. Dogs—to be sure, this is a dog-friendly hotel—and staff friendly!

WE HAVE ARRIVED

The hotel sits across the street from the lake, but it is a short walk to the lakeshore.

There is something to be said about what must be called “lodge style.” It is a rustic and rugged style built of wood and stone. It’s heavy and solid, and if anything can be called lodge style, it is the famous Lone Eagle Grill, which is one of the restaurants in the Regency. With vast views of the lake and at night, the open-air pits along the boardwalk provide a unique, romantic setting. The menu is also rustic, as it offers up Duncan Ranch Elk Strip Loin or Grilled Ra King Salmon Filet. Venture out a little further, and one can end up at Pier 111 Bar, which is a 275-foot suspended pier over the lake. And it is beautiful and the perfect place to mingle. Our first activity is the fine art of axe throwing, a newly appreciated sport that requires the throwing of a heavy axe at a target from a distance. It is not an easy sport, and as this is summer, it soon requires that we find shade in the verdant courtyard of the hotel.

After the strenuous axe-throwing workout, it is a good time to visit the Stillwater Spa, which offers facials, body treatments, and massages. All treatments spring from a sense of renewal and calm, and the physical Spa itself is testimony to this notion. But adventure calls once again, and we are drawn to the lake shore, where an afternoon yoga session is about to begin. In the distance, on a floating pier, is the unique Pier 111 bar. Located at the end of the floating pier, it is home base for speedboat adventures and, of course, cocktails. Back at the hotel itself, the large outdoor pool is one of four different pool areas. The large pool has a winding waterway that leads into the hotel itself. It is summer, the weather plays easy, and a night swim turns out to be a good idea. Another day, another activity.  As the sun sets on the lake, we take to our kayaks and head out into the lake, where the shoreline grows smaller. It is a fun fact that the name Larry Ellison is often mentioned. Ellison is the CEO of technology company Oracle, and he is rich. It is his property, Cal Neva Resort & Casino property, which is a 13-acre property that occupies much of the view from the kayaks. (Rumor has it he has sold the property.)

YOGA, LAKESIDE

There is nothing quite like doing yoga by a lake.

The lakeside yoga event series is hosted by DJ JOOLZ and local yoga instructor Alexandra Farrar. There is music, there is sand, there is water, and there is Yoga. DJ JOOLZ is spinning out quiet vibes as Alexandra Farra leads a group of 25 through the various yoga positions. It’s all for a good cause, as the suggested $10 donation will benefit Incline Elementary School’s “Step Up for Stem” program.

The lakeside yoga sessions  take place on September 14, and September 28, with registration beginning at 5 p.m. and the classes starting at 5:30 p.m. Following the classes, attendees are welcomed to relax and unwind at The Nest Bar and Grill for a post-yoga happy hour.

We venture around the lake on bikes, with the Regency as our starting base. The Alpine air, the clear skies, and the trails along the lake provide a unique opportunity to see the lake from a many angles.

As all things must come to an end, it is time to pack it up and leave all this behind, with regret—so many unique experiences were offered, we felt like we had scratched the beautiful surface.

“A rare gem that feels like Ettore Sottsass meets Taylor Swift on a date night gone right.”

Downtowner Devin Carlson has designed and opened Mona Pasta Bar, a rare gem that feels like Ettore Sottsass meets Taylor Swift on a date night gone right. Carlson’s reimagining of the former 9th Street Ramen space is a welcome, sexier surprise to the row of storefronts stretching to Spring Street.

Walking into the slowly seductive, jewel box space you feel a comforting intimacy that prepares you to relax and savor the delightful Italian wine selections and smartly crafted menu. Chef Freylin Morales (Silverlake’s L&E Oyster Bar) offers sensual takes on Italian stalwarts from delicate, light as a feather calamari fritti; a divine pesce crudo in kosho beet vinaigrette from the appealing list of starters to pastas including spaghetti alle vongole and casarecce with lamb sausage and rappini. The vongole suffered from an uncharacteristic overdose of butter but that won’t deter future explorations into the menu including a whole branzino for a fair $37 and a coffee-dark rum tiramisu!

Carlson’s experience crafting a successful fashion line and immersive yet minimal designed environments shines through joyfully at Mona.

Healthy Skin Throughout Pregnancy

Healthy Skin Throughout Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a miraculous experience as you bring another life into the world. At the same time, it causes a huge transformation in your body — including your skin. Learning how to care for your skin during pregnancy will help you feel happier and healthier.

Why Does Pregnancy Affect Your Skin?

Your skin is your largest and most sensitive organ, reacting to even minor hormonal changes. During pregnancy, when your body experiences significant hormonal shifts, it’s no surprise your skin may reflect the changes.

You may notice changes like acne breakouts, the appearance of melasma or dark patches and even the formation of stretch marks. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, especially if it’s your first time getting pregnant. However, keep in mind that these changes are to be expected.

4 Tips For Maintaining Healthy Skin During Pregnancy

It’s never too late to care for your skin, especially during this time. Check out these tips for keeping your skin clear and soft.

1. Build a Gentle Skincare Routine

Consistency is key and routines help you develop new habits that will benefit you in the long run. If you’re not used to a skincare routine, now is the best time to practice. You can do your routine at any time of day, but for best results, both mornings and evenings are recommended.

Building the right skincare routine might require some experimentation and trial and error. You should determine what skin type you have and then find products that are best suited for that type.

2. Drink Enough Water and Eat Well

Hydration during pregnancy is important for many reasons, including healthier skin. While it varies from person to person, most pregnant people should drink 8-12 cups of water a day.

You should also consume foods that are rich in antioxidants, like vegetables and fruits. Antioxidants are known for their anti-aging benefits, including improving skin health and appearance. Avoid sugary and processed foods when possible — they can cause acne breakouts and inflammation.

3. Choose the Right Products

Using the right products is often as important as maintaining a regular skincare routine. Look for products that contain ingredients like vitamin C, retinol and ceramides. Vitamin C encourages collagen production and equalizes uneven skin tone. Retinols can reduce wrinkles, inflammation and hyperpigmentation. Ceramides are lippy acids or fatty acids that keep skin cells firm and hydrated.

4. Practice Stress Management Techniques

Stress can cause breakouts and speed up the aging process that leads to wrinkles and fine lines. It’s essential to manage your stress with breathing exercises, meditation, yoga or other coping techniques that work for you.

Pregnant and Glowing

Taking care of your skin is a powerful act of self-care. Throughout this transition, make sure to appreciate everything your body is doing for you and your baby. You can manage hormonal changes and keep your skin looking clear and beautiful during your pregnancy with these skincare tips.

Whether it’s for a seasonal refresh, or just in time for going back to school, there’s a new brand out there reinventing what it means to be unique – and there just aren’t enough good things to say about them!

Novella, the unisex sneaker brand threading a meaningful story into every limited-run design they introduce, is working with a different artisan/creative to inspire each drop. From comedians and barbers to poets and painters, these are the rarest designs you’ll see on the feet around you, and for good reason. Novella itself is unique in that each sneaker design is inspired by a creative to share their story.

Recent creatives the brand has worked with include slam-poet Rudy Francisco, textile artist Katherine Entis, comedian Akaash Singh, and more. If that weren’t noteworthy enough, Novella’s designs capture a classic and timeless look, so even ten years from now, these sneakers are sure to turn heads with all their design inspirations.

From red bottoms to embossed handwriting, each design is truly a work of art, complete with outsoles that transition from herringbone tread into a unique fingerprint (the combined fingerprints of those involved in the design process). Each pair of sneakers are numbered – 1 through 2,020 – being that each design only sees 2,020 pairs manufactured and sold. Therefore, you won’t see anyone with the same number from the same Chapter (season) or Verse (colorway). How’s that for being unique?

If that weren’t enough, craftsmanship is at the forefront with premium Italian leather, interior tongue labels that reveal the artisan’s name and craft, and printed footbeds that hold personal meaning.  Each pair of Novella’s come with 2 pairs of laces for added customization — a pair that complements the art, and another to accentuate it. Shop Novella this summer and secure your number!

D’Angelo created the “Feast Of The Wu Tang” painting, and it’s quite the spectacle to appreciate. As Rosey states, “The inspiration came [from] for me personally, as I’m one of 9 siblings from Staten Island (aka Shaolin), and I think of this piece as a celebration of the magic of nine individuals and their ability to overcome together in ways they couldn’t have alone.”

Check Out A Book: The Aesop Queer Library, Opens Through June 25

Branches of the Queer Library will open concurrently at Aesop Silver Lake, Los Angeles; Aesop Williamsburg, New York; and Aesop Yorkville, Toronto from 20 to 25 June. As in previous years, each visitor will be invited to select a complimentary book from the shelves and take it home, while stocks last.

Against a backdrop of increasingly hostile and reductive discourses about LGBTQIA2S+ representation, the library celebrates the transformative power of literature—its ability to affirm, uplift and illuminate. According to the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom, 2022 saw a 38% increase in titles targeted for censorship. Of those titles, the vast majority were written by or about members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community or by and about Black people, Indigenous people, and other people of color. In response, the Aesop Foundation has donated USD $100,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation, which works to defend freedom of expression, both in the courts and beyond.

Catherine O’Dea, Chair of the Aesop Foundation, says: ‘The Aesop Foundation is proud to support the ACLU to end classroom censorship, challenge book bans and promote access to public libraries. The grant reflects our shared commitment to supporting literacy and education and we stand in solidarity with the ACLU’s Right to Learn campaign, and other activities that defend freedom of expression to advance equity.’

The books included in this year’s library were selected by Aesop team members, and were sourced from independent queer-owned bookstores—Glad Day Books in Toronto and Bookwoman in Austin—along with titles donated by Penguin Books. From classic queer texts by James Baldwin and Audre Lorde, to contemporary titles by writers such as George M. Johnson and Maia Kobabe, the collection reveals how valuable these voices are to society as a whole. Such texts continue to develop empathy and understanding—not to mention a rich canon of literature that reflects a multitude of lived experiences.

Guided by a long-standing reverence for literature, the Aesop Queer Library invites visitors to share in a message of hope, courage and conviction, with stories to share and discuss long after 2023’s Pride celebrations come to a close.

Discovering Stylish Women’s Pants for Sale: A Fashionista’s Guide

Discovering Stylish Women’s Pants for Sale: A Fashionista’s Guide

Are you tired of wearing the same old jeans over and over again? Are you ready to change your wardrobe game? Look no further because stylish womens pants online are here to save the day! Whether you’re going for a sophisticated office look or just want to add some extra flare to your outfit, there’s a pair of pants out there waiting for you.

Start with the Basics

Before diving headfirst into trendy and bold styles of pants, make sure to have some staple pieces in your wardrobe. Basic items like black leggings, high-waisted trousers, and classic denim jeans will never go out of style. Depending on the occasion, these items can be paired to create different styles. They make an excellent foundation that allows any closet pieces to stand out.

Find Your Style

Once you have covered all your basic must-haves, it’s time to explore new trends. Fitted cigarette pants are perfect if you want something tailored but modern and trendy. Wide-legged culottes can be paired with an oversized shirt or blouse giving off an effortless yet polished vibe.

Alternatively, skinny leather pants offer great edge and sass while adding texture and rock-chic energy into outfits when paired with slouchy tees or casual shoes like sneakers or boots.

Brightly colored cargo-style high-waisted paper bag pants look amazing with chunky knit sweaters tucked in at the waistline. Always remember that proportion is key, whether combining feminine blouses & puff sleeves underneath them!

The material used also plays a critical factor, like silk trousers provide sophistication that will leave everyone impressed; linen fabric offers ease of comfort during summertime when temperatures climb above 30°C while a velvety finish adds luxe elegance that is perfect for night outs!

Get Creative

Mixing prints is one trend that has been steadily surfacing over the past few years, not only in tops but also pants. Prints like leopard and floral can add a pop of color and the perfect amount of flair to any outfit.

Comfort is the key, which is why joggers have become an all-time favorite for many fashionistas. They provide comfort and ease of movement alongside style without sacrificing anything. They look stylish paired with casual-chic jackets or oversized knits rather than just athletic hoodies or tank tops.

Cropped styles such as wide-legged culottes and tapered ankle pants are perfect for creating proportions; they allow you to show off your best shoes, whether heels or flats, while showing more skin, creating a leg-length illusion.

For a daring look, try belting your high-waisted trousers with printed textures like python snakeskin patterns giving it an edgy attitude over plain belts.

Finalize The Look

Accessories can enhance the whole appearance of one’s outfit! Pair women’s pants for sale with boots, chunky sneakers, sandals heels offering different mixes based on individual preference in time. Statement pieces like oversized hats/earrings/necklaces can also change a look entirely.

In Conclusion

Give yourself options when it comes to finding stylish women’s pants by trying on new looks you may have never considered before! Be open-minded and willing to experiment – after all, fashion is meant to be fun! Start building from basics onto bolder choices covering suitable materials in each style category. Make creative outfit combinations, then finalize everything flawlessly using accessories, making them stand out uniquely and rounding up the final touches that will make every fashionista fall head-over-heels in love with their stylish women’s pants collection!

In the end, finding the perfect pair of stylish women’s pants for sale depends on personal choice. Explore different styles, materials, and prints to create a unique fashion statement that reflects your individuality. Keep trying new things until you find what works best for your style and personality. Happy shopping!

From LA to Edinburgh Fringe Festival

From LA to Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Maybe you’ve heard of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that happens every August in Edinburgh, Scotland? If not, it’s an amazing month of theater celebration. Every venue that can transforms itself into a theater: restaurants, libraries, universities, even shipping containers appear in the streets that can house an audience of 40-50 people. And each day, you have a choice of roughly 3000 shows to go and see. There’s something for everyone: drama, comedy, musicals, cabaret, circus acts, choirs, vaudeville, stand up comedians, huge productions and solo shows. It’s exhilarating, stimulating, inspiring and soooo much fun!

This year, several actors from Los Angeles are headed to the Fringe to perform their shows. It’s quite the leap of faith because it’s expensive to put on a show, plus you have no idea where you are, the accents are hard to understand, and your entire support system is thousands of miles away.

———————————————————————————————————————————————

Cindy D’Andrea is one such brave soul. An actor, writer, producer, fitness expert and award-winning solo performer, Cindy talked to SoCal Magazine about her show “Cat Sh!t Crazy”, which she will perform in Edinburgh. Cat Sh!t Crazy is about finding love when Cindy rescued two kittens from the shelter. She has been an animal rescuer and volunteer for over 20 years and hopes to connect with fellow animal lovers of all kinds and save some cats in the process!

1: Have you taken part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before? — I have not, but it has been a dream of mine to perform there since 2016. Last year, I went to the festival as a spectator and had the best time while doing my research and taking notes!

2: Have you traveled a lot or is this a new experience? — This is a new experience. As a kid, we didn’t have the money to travel. And as I got older, I didn’t want to leave my cats and was too busy trying to save all the homeless and feral cats in Los Angeles, of course!

3: What are you most worried about with taking your show to the Fringe?— Loaded question! Definitely the tech side of things including getting a consistent operator, short rehearsal times, communication with the venue, details with posters, flyers, getting butts in the seats and standing outside in the rain in my cat costume handing out flyers!

4: Is anyone going with you? — Going solo!  I’m looking for someone to help me while I’m there though and have been connecting with some lovely locals.

5: Have you performed in other countries before? — No, I’ve only ever performed in the U.S.

6: What do you think is the biggest difference between British audiences and American ones? —  I’m not sure. I think Americans are more emotional in their responses and Brits perhaps enjoy raw comedy more.  I’ll find out and get back to you!

In preparation of her Edinburgh run, Cindy’s performing at Broadwater Black Box from July 18-23, 6 performances. Go cheer her on!! Click here for tickets.

Next up, we spoke with Star Stone, an actress, producer and playwright whose work focuses on uplifting survivors of gender based violence. Star is the creator of the edu-tainment comedy #MeToo, a one-woman show that centers on Star’s real life experiences with sexual assault and gender-based violence. But this is not a show focused on a single perpetrator, it’s a show focused on the organizations and systems that function to uphold rape culture. #MeToo is a provocative, wildly funny, boundary-pushing, educational show.

Having spent time in LA, on and off for 9 years, Star has performed at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and SOLOFEST. “Working with artistic director of the Whitefire (and producer of SOLOFEST), Bryan Rasmussen was a phenomenal experience. I premiered to a sold out first night at SOLOFEST and was grateful to the Soaring Solo Community for showing up in support of me and my work!  The Hollywood Fringe Festival was an equally incredible experience. I signed on as producer for the first time during this run. If anything, the Fringe taught me to take risks, be bold with my choices, fearlessly and fiercely own my own ideas and most importantly, have fun!”

1. Have you taken part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before? — Nope- first timer!

2. Have you traveled a lot or is this a new experience? — First time in Europe.

3. What are you most looking forward to? — Connecting with other solo artists and being able to share my work with new audiences!

Click here for a recent interview with Star.

——————————————————————————————————————————————-

Last, but not least, is Nalini Sharma with her show, UNTIL DEATH – a solo show that combines theater and clowning, set in a hospital where time collapses and humans panic in moments of death and existence. Inspired by her childhood, during which Nalini survived more than one motorcycle accident, and spent quite a bit of time in hospitals. UNTIL DEATH is an absurdist, feminist, pragmatist, clown-ist, anti-centrist, pre-industrialist, present-dogist, post-experimentalist show… There’s something for everyone. Except children. Don’t bring children to this one.

1. Have you taken part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before? — I have not! Poppin’ the Edinburgh Fringe cherry with this one. Don’t be too nervous for me, the first time can be great too.

2. Have you traveled a lot or is this a new experience? — Luckily and gratefully, I’ve travelled a lot in my life. My family loves their family vacations and we go outside of America and India frequently. We have yet to hit Scotland, however. So I’m particularly thrilled for this trip. And ofcourse once my parents found out I’m doing a show in a country they haven’t been to, they didn’t hesitate to book their tickets to come see me. Wish me luck, my father does not know what burlesque is. And yes there is burlesque in my show.

3. What are you most worried about? — Drinking Scotch for days on end. Oh, thank you for reminding me. I need to look up the taxi or ride-share services they have.

4. What are you most looking forward to? — Drinking Scotch for days on end. And doing my show.

5. Is anyone going with you? — Yes! My wonderfully talented director, Sophia Cleary and my wonderfully talented clown friend, Mike Rose who is featured in my show is also coming!

6. What do you think is the biggest difference between British audiences and American ones? — It seems to me British audiences are open to more risk takers. They seem to love the weird, outlier characters or stories that are woven in non-traditional ways. I’m excited to share my show with them.

Now, make sure to support these talented ladies and get yourself to Edinburgh!
